Eight prongs, not four. That is the whole design.
Traditional solitaires use four prongs, or six. The Octavia uses eight hand-finished prongs, and the difference is not subtle: the stone sits inside a rounded, petal-like frame that makes a round brilliant read almost like a flower in bloom. It is more secure, and it is unmistakably not a stock setting.
The 14k solid gold band carries hand-pressed milgrain — a fine beaded edge that gives an antique texture to an otherwise clean shank. The basket is elevated just enough that your wedding band sits perfectly flush against it, eliminating the gap that ruins most solitaire stacks.
